Let's Make It a 'Teach-In' to Remember
Editorial
Issue date: 9/21/09 Section: Opinion
It appears that the faculty have finally had enough with shady presidential search processes, not being consulted on the construction of a new campus for the university and teaching at a school, that since 2003, has had problems with accreditation. They are taking their frustrations with these and other matters to the people who matter the most - the student body. And we fully endorse their efforts.
We recommended that every student avail him- or herself of the opportunity to attend Wednesday's teach-in starting with the board of trustees meeting at 7:30 a.m. It is imperative that students gather and hear the information that will be disseminated at this event as it pertains to them directly.
We applaud the faculty's efforts and hope to see more of these events in the near future.
